A 50 strong group of "travellers" have set up home in a car park just outside Poole, in Dorset.
Yesterday a Poole council official said that staff would issue penalty charges to any vehicle without a valid ticket. In total there are 23 travellers vehicles. He went on to say that his officers would visit the site to ensure that it is kept clean and tidy.
HELLO........have you ever heard of the law of trespass.
The fine for overdue parking is £60. With my maths
£60 x 23 vehicles =£1380 per day. Lets assume they stay a fortnight, thats a total of £19,320 in fines.
Whats the chance of this ever being paid...ZILCH.
Why do we pussy foot around with these people. They provide nothing to the community except filthy areas when they leave,spaces in our garden sheds where our lawn mower used to be, leaking lead-less church roofs and asphalt drive that crack in months.
Where is the horse drawn round roofed caravans ambling down the open country roads. Answer...in you head only
