Please contribute to Abu Qatada's leaving present.

by wisty8golf @ 2008-06-18 - 11:15:51

In another display of meaningless hot air, the Prime Minister said yesterday that it is the duty of the Government..."to protect and promote both our security and our liberty"
Within hours Abu Qatada, Osama bin Laden's right hand man in Europe, was released on bail. In April, the Court of Appeal blocked Qatada's deportation to Jordan on the grounds that he would not get a fair trial there.Well done his Legal Aid lawyers.
I should care. He vomits vitriol from every opening on his body. Hates everything this country stands for ......that is except our laws that protect fanatics who advocate terrorism. And to cap it all,
the restrictions placed on him will cost £500,000 plus he and his family will all be on benefits.
Send him back to Jordan with a note attached "Don't return to Sender"

"When I am in your country you treat me well because that is according to your customs. When you are in my country, I put you in prison because that is according to our customs" - Rider Haggard.

If we change our customs to mistreat this one man, then we are no longer ourselves and that would be very wrong.

Tom.

I see what you mean however!!! i watch every week guilty people go free because of our ridged laws...all I am saying is the Law should have common sense bolted on to it. I could give you numerous examples of where the guilty have walked free...oh yes i understand that the opposite has occurred..but no where near as many..
