A short while ago the Labour Government pronouced their intention to be " Tough on Crime and Tough on the causes of Crime" What's happened since ? Increase in violent crime and a statement by senior Judges that prison sentences will be shorter due to overcrowding in prison. Why don't we nationalise Butlins and use that space ? I have it on good authority that prison life is like a holiday camp anyway.
Now the statement by Brown that they intend to tighten the state benefits system. Billions of pounds are being sucked out of the system by the lazy fraudsters,denying the genuine the extra support they need.
What will happen..... exactly nothing. This time next year the numbers will be up and then this Government will pledge to be "Tough on honesty and the causes of being Honest
